"After having Barbecue the past couple days we decided we wanted Mexican. I looked up the menu and Los Tres Amigos looked appealing. The parking lot looked full, but there was plenty of parking in the back as we were towing a boat. We went inside and even though they were busy, we were seated immediately. It does get a little loud with most of the tables being full. We ordered 2 23 oz Top shelf margaritas (only $9). Then we both ordered a cup of the tortilla soup. He had the tropical shrimp salad and I did the house salad. They serve their delicious salad, just the right amount of heat, in a little carafe and two bowls. This is great as we often need more salsa for the chips. Their chips are thin, warm, and crispy. His salad had a lot of shrimp with veggies, pineapple, and mandarin orange slices. I did a small house salad and was happy I did. The "cup" of soup was the size of a large bowl. It was filled with rice, chopped tomatoes, diced jalapeños, and shredded chicken. It was topped with shredded tortilla chips and shredded cheese. The broth was light and flavorful. The only downside was no dressing on the salads. But since we had plenty of salad left, we used it on them. Definitely great Mexican comfort food."
